Wake your friends & family to a yard full of flamingoes! This is a great gag to play on those milestone birthdays! We go out in the wee hours ( that's early in the a.m. ) and plant a few pink friends in the yard of the birthday girl/guy so when they wake up and head to work they get a surprise. We also put a small yard sign in the yard announcing who's birthday it is so everyone in the neighborhood knows!

FAQ's About Flamingo-ing a yard

When does my order have to be placed?
Orders need to be place 2-3 days before the actual date of delivery.

Will you put them out on the weekends & holidays?
Weekends yes! Football season, Christmas, Etc will depend on a case by case order. Football season in a high traffic neighborhood will be discouraged since there is a higher case of someone taking flamingoes.

How much is it?
This varies due to the number of flamingoes requested. Call and ask for Debra for prices and availablity.

Can we rent the flamingoes and put them out ourselves?
Yes. However it is harder than you think. Also we don't have to explain where we are going in the middle of the night!

Is there a charge for the sign?
No but we do pick it up when we pick up the flamingoes

What can be written on the sign?
Anything that is not obscene, off color or offensive. Examples: Lordy Lordy Look who's 40? Ain't it nifty John's 50!

When are the flamingoes put out?
In the very early a.m. We start sometimes after 1 a.m. and between 5 a.m.

Do I need to leave a light on?
NO we are fully capable of putting them out without lights.

Where are they placed in the yard?
We "cruise" the yard in the daylight hours in our personal cars and check the yard out. We normally put them close to the house by the sidewalks or between the carports and front doors.  If there is a front window we put them in view of windows so they can see them when they wake up?

What about dogs?
Please keep the dogs up. They might get woken up by a scream if the dogs is friendly and licks me on the leg!--That actually happened to someone I know. Also the barking might wake up the birthday boy/girl.

Do I need to call the police and let them know what I have ordered for someone?
NO we are in a marked van and the police know we do this for a living.

Can you flamingo someone on Auburn University campus?
No campus police and facilities don't think this is humorous and will remove the flamingoes.

Can you flamingo a business?
This is a case by case business but we traditionally say no since higher traffic areas tend have missing birds which have to be paid for at a replacement charge.

How long are they left out in the yard?
We usually leave them up all day and late afternoons  (3-5 p.m.) we go back and pick them up.

What happens if the flamingoes get stolen?
We don't usually have this happen but if there are  missing birds we charge by the flamingo for missing ones since these are a rental.

Is it funny?
Oh heck yeah.
